Rental Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to every car rented from Errachidia Car Rental (Bloc 13 N 1158 Lot, Garage, Errachidia 52000, Morocco · +212 647 470 387 · booking@errachidiacarrental.com). By sending a booking request on this website, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. The rental agreement you sign when you collect the car completes these terms; if the two differ, the signed rental agreement applies.

1. Booking and confirmation

A booking made online is a request. It is confirmed only when we confirm the car, the dates, the price and the deposit with you by email, phone or WhatsApp.
Prices are shown per day. The final price depends on the car, the dates, the pick-up and drop-off locations and any extras or insurance options you choose. We give you the total before you confirm.
Please give correct contact details and, for airport pick-up, your flight number.

2. Driver requirements

Every driver must show a valid, original driving licence and a passport (or a national ID card for Moroccan residents). If the licence is not in Arabic, French or English, an International Driving Permit is recommended.
A minimum driver age and a minimum licence period apply. They can vary by car category and are confirmed before you book.
Only the drivers named on the rental agreement may drive the car. Additional drivers must be declared and show the same documents.

3. Payment and security deposit

We confirm the accepted payment methods (card, cash, bank transfer or mobile payment, depending on the booking) before you book.
A refundable security deposit is required at pick-up. The amount depends on the car category and is confirmed before pick-up.
The deposit is returned after the car has been checked on return. It may be used to cover damage, missing fuel, traffic fines, tolls or other unpaid charges linked to the rental. For card deposits, the release time also depends on your bank.

4. Pick-up and return

The car is checked together with you at pick-up. Existing marks and the fuel level are noted on the rental agreement.
Please return the car at the agreed place, date and time, in the same condition (normal wear excepted). If you will be late, contact us as soon as possible. Late returns may be charged.
Pick-up or return outside Errachidia and Errachidia Airport, and one-way rentals to other cities, are possible on request and may carry an extra fee. The fee is shown in your quote.

5. Fuel and mileage

The fuel level at pick-up is recorded on the rental agreement. The car must be returned with the same level; missing fuel may be charged.
Use only the correct fuel for the car (diesel or petrol, as shown on the car page and on the agreement). Damage caused by wrong fuel is the driver’s responsibility.
Any mileage limit for your rental is stated in your quote and rental agreement.

6. Use of the car

Driving on sand dunes is strictly forbidden, including in Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi. Our cars are not 4×4 vehicles.
Off-road driving and gravel tracks must be agreed with us before your trip. Off-road driving is often excluded from insurance.
The car must not be used for racing, towing, carrying paying passengers or goods, or by a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Morocco has a zero alcohol limit for drivers.
The driver must respect the Moroccan highway code. Traffic fines and police penalties during the rental are the driver’s responsibility.

7. Insurance, damage and accidents

Third-party liability insurance, required by Moroccan law, is included with every rental. It does not cover damage to the rental car itself.
Optional damage waivers (CDW or extended cover) may be available depending on the car. The excess and conditions are confirmed before you book.
Damage not covered by the chosen insurance, including damage caused by forbidden use (section 6), is the driver’s responsibility, up to the amount set in the rental agreement.
In case of an accident: make sure everyone is safe, call the emergency services if needed, then contact us immediately on +212 647 470 387. Do not leave the car or sign any document without speaking to us. A police or accident report is required.

8. Changes and cancellation

To change or cancel a booking, contact us as early as possible by phone, WhatsApp or email.
The cancellation conditions and any refund of amounts already paid are stated in your booking confirmation.
If we can no longer provide the confirmed car, we will offer a similar car or refund any amount you have paid for the booking.
